My approach to eating is to enjoy food! I believe that food is one of life's many joys, and it should be prepared with love and gratitude.
I also believe that food should nourish the body. By listening to what our body needs, we create balance. Some days, you may want something light and refreshing. Others, you may want something warm and hearty. Tuning out the noise of what we are told to eat and listening to what our body desires is a powerful tool for creating a balanced, healthy diet.
I strongly believe that healthy food does not have to be fancy, expensive, or time-consuming. Choosing whole, unprocessed, and unrefined foods creates a solid baseline for creating simple, healthy dishes at home and on the go.
Sometimes, we need a little extra helping tuning into our body's desires. I use 21-day nutritional tune-ups to eliminate the noise and help my clients hone in on this practice.
I do not follow one specific type of diet in my practice. Your body is a better guideline than any prescribed diet.
